The journey towards therapy can feel overwhelming. You may find yourself feeling alone, scared, misunderstood, or completely stuck. Having someone by your side to explore the parts of yourself that prevent you from living the life you desire can make a world of difference. I offer a compassionate and supportive presence. It is my intention to help guide my clients towards developing a healthy and strong sense of self, and an understanding of the feelings and emotions that emerge during the counseling process. Being human involves not just the mind but also the body and soul. I am licensed in both Oregon and Washington. I use a variety of techniques to support my clients in feeling more connected to their whole selves. While our thoughts and emotions are important, equally of value are the somatic sensations experienced within the body. In addition to talk therapy, I integrate guided meditation, breath work, EMDR, music & craniosacral therapy within my practice. Whether you are facing past or present trauma, struggling with anxiety and depression, or just don't know what your next move in life is, I am here to offer a supportive, compassionate and mindful presence, sitting next to you as you navigate your way. I invite you to connect with me for a no-cost, 20-minute consultation either by phone or video call.

Cesario Larios, MA, LMHCA is a Clinical Psychology doctoral student-candidate (PsyD-C) at Antioch University Seattle. He is in his sixth year of clinical training, which has encompassed both clinical applications in therapy as well as psychological assessment. During his doctoral training with NW Family Psychology, Cesario works with clients seeking psychological assessments (e.g., ADHD, autism, complex mood), as well as assessments for the courts (e.g., parenting, domestic violence, etc.). Cesario is currently accepting new referrals at our Spokane office. The testing phase can typically be completed over the course of one day, and a feedback session follows thereafter. In addition, some testing cases may require collateral contact before the final report is completed and released to referring parties (e.g., IEP team, PCP, attorneys, etc.). Cesario routinely collaborates with our forensic team at NW Family Psychology, Seattle, to provide each client with evidence-based assessment and best-interest recommendations. Please contact our Spokane office to secure your testing appointment with Cesario.

There is hope! What I specialize in: anyone who has experienced childhood trauma, and those suffering with chronic pain, EMDR certified. You can find life more peaceful and simple with increased connection with yourself and others. Being willing to reprocess the past with EMDR is the most effective way to treat current symptoms. Connection with others is a basic human need. I am sure whatever your symptoms are they are impacting your relationships. This is what is causing the most suffering. We all need relationships to feel happy and content. We will explore past trauma, increasing contentment. This is NOT traditional talk therapy. View 5 Photos We can work together to make this a reality for you. You are unique and your circumstances need specific support. Life doesn't have to be full of conflict or heartache. You can tolerate anything with confidence and calm. I am certified in EMDR and use a Buddhist mindset to support our work. This is hard work, but the result is life changing. It can be difficult to reach out for help, especially in our current culture where it is extremely difficult to find a therapist with availability. I would love to hear from you and learn about your specific needs. Fit is so important and trusting your therapist is key. My clients are ready to do the deep work and are ages 25+.

People achieve the most evolution when they feel seen, valued, and heard. This is what I strive to accomplish. My most important work is supporting others in elevating and reaching their full potential. One of my favorite things is seeing people succeed! I love witnessing people gain confidence in themselves, heal from their pain, replace unhelpful thinking patterns, and work toward their personal goals. I strongly believe that all people are capable of growth and change, no matter where they came from, or what they have been through. I'm a client centered therapist. I use CBT, motivational interviewing, positive psychology approaches, art and play therapy, and other modalities dependent on the client's specific needs. I aim to listen, encourage, and support clients on their personal healing journey. Together we will determine your goals and move with intent in that direction. I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story!
